We uncover the secret ingredient that sets your institution apart from the competition. We leverage your leadership and community connections to discover unique opportunities to accelerate your fundraising.

Inver Hills Community College (IHCC, Inver Hills) was established in 1970, and offers over 50 degree options that transfer to four-year colleges and career-related degrees in leading occupational areas. The Inver Hills Community College (501c3) was established to raise funds to support student success and advance the mission of the college.

The Challenge

Cost is the number one barrier keeping potential students from enrolling in post-secondary education. Core to its mission to provide access, Inver Hills needed to make higher education more affordable to more students in the community. Building new levels of community support for scholarship and tuition assistance programs was a top priority.

The Answer

As part of a campaign feasibility study, Fox Advancement tested the need for scholarships with the community and worked with college and community leadership to launch the college’s first-ever major gifts fundraising campaign.

The Result

Inver Hills is leading the way for other two-year colleges through a major fundraising campaign that is organizing the community around the vision to ensure every student with access to world-class postsecondary training and ensure the promise of higher education.
